(Lethbridge Seniors & Kids Intergenerational Program) Bringing the ages together benefits children and seniors. The program creates opportunities to learn new skills and methods of doing things; encouraging children to accept people of all ages, capabilities and limitations; developing social and emotional connects for children and seniors; alleviating isolation and depression for seniors; and filling a void for children who do not have grandparents available to them. The program pairs children (12 years and younger) and their caregivers with seniors. Participants will engage in active play, facilitated games, and music/song time.
